Guatemala’s Casa Vieja Lodge returns as presenting sponsor of the Reelpro Big 4 Offshore Fishing Tournament, May 16-17, 2009

The inaugural tournament hosted by C-Quarters Marina in Carrabelle was a huge hit among anglers and locals, who enjoyed the tournament’s festive atmosphere. The continued partnership with Casa Vieja Lodge is a testament to that success, said Big 4 Offshore founder and Reelpro CEO Brian Hurley.

Casa Vieja Lodge is located on Guatemala’s southwestern Pacific Coast. It is world famous for its sailfishing and each year boasts numbers such as 124 releases in a day by one boat and 300 releases over a three-day period on conventional tackle. The lodge’s overall annual release rate is more than a dozen billfish per day, per boat.
